Vermont Tax Power of Attorney (Form PA-1)
The Vermont Tax Power of Attorney (Form PA-1) is a Special Power of Attorney form issued by the Vermont Department of Taxes that may be utilized by individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts. Any of these parties may use it to indicate their preferences regarding the acts their elected Agent may perform on their behalf. Examples include:
- Receiving the taxpayer’s tax returns and relevant information about their returns,
- Representing the taxpayer in discussions and at informal conferences,
with Vermont Department of Taxes personnel, and
- Preparing and filing Vermont state tax returns.
