Nevada Tax Power of Attorney (Form 2848)

The Nevada Tax Power of Attorney (Form 2848) is a form that allows for tax matters to be delegated from one party (the Principal) to another (the Agent). As the state of Nevada does not provide a state-specific Tax POA form, taxpayers can simply use this official one provided by the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service. It standardizes the process of applying for a Tax POA by clearly setting out any mandatory fields a taxpayer must address. To prepare for their application, the taxpayer may need to gather certain tax-related documents so that they can easily disclose any tax information the Department requests in the form.
