Montana Tax Power of Attorney Form
The Montana Tax Power of Attorney represents the paperwork legally required for a taxpayer to elect another party, called the Representative, to represent them before the Department of Revenue. The Department provides for numerous types of tax to be covered by the Power of Attorney agreement, such as individual income, property, rental vehicle, withholding, and lodging facilities tax, to name but a few examples. Once the taxpayer has completed and reviewed the form to ensure they have filled out all necessary fields, they have the option of filing it online, faxing, or mailing it to the Department.
