Mississippi Real Estate (Property) Power of Attorney Form
The Mississippi Real Estate Power of Attorney is a document that only focuses on Power of Attorney arrangements related to real estate transactions. In such an arrangement, an individual (called the Principal) will organize for another party (their Agent) to take charge of one or more real estate affairs they, for whatever reason, cannot handle all on their own. The Principal must ensure the form contains relevant legally-binding provisions for the Agent to follow when fulfilling any duties on the their behalf.
State Laws & Signing Requirements
State Laws – Powers and Letters of Attorney
Signing Requirements – There are no state-mandated signing requirements. It is therefore highly advisable to safeguard the interests of all parties that the Principal signs the form before a Notary Public and two (2) witnesses.
