Mississippi Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form 78-003)

The Mississippi Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form 78-003) is a form administered by the Mississippi Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Services that provides motor vehicle owners with the opportunity to name an Agent. By filing it, the motor vehicle owner will in turn grant the Agent “full power and authority to do and perform all and every act requisite and necessary” in order to transfer and assign the legal title of the vehicle they name. In the form, the motor vehicle owner must provide pertinent details about their car, including an odometer reading that shows the mileage of the vehicle
