Minnesota Tax Power of Attorney (Form REV184)

The Minnesota Department of Revenue offers a Power of Attorney form, referred to as the Minnesota Tax Power of Attorney (Form REV184), that may be used by any individual to add, change, or remove a Power of Attorney for tax purposes. The form is clearly laid-out with different sections which attend to these respective needs. If the taxpayer seeks to establish a new Power of Attorney, they must provide details about themselves and the party they wish to be their Appointee. Additionally, they must make their preferences clear about the authority they wish to grant the Appointee to act on their behalf.
