Maryland Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form VR-470)

The Maryland Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form VR-470) is a one-page form that the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration has made available for motor vehicle owners to request that an Agent take charge of registering and/or transferring ownership of their vehicle. The form may be completed by an individual vehicle owner, or a pair of vehicle owners (such as a husband and wife). For their request to be accepted, the owner/s must disclose relevant information which they confirm, via their signature, is presented in a “true and correct” manner.
