New York Month to Month Lease Agreement

The New York Month-to-Month Lease (Rental) Agreement is a binding contract used to enstate a series of written rules and terms with respect to an arrangement in which one (1) or more tenant(s) pay consistent rental payments to live in a private property, with the caveat that either party can terminate the agreement with minimum notice without suffering repercussions. For those living outside of New York City, a notice of only one (1) month is required according to New York Landlord and Tenant law, Section 232-B. For those living in NYC, Section 232-A mandates that at least thirty (30) days’ notice is given, which is notably very similar to what Section 232-B requires.
