Nebraska Commercial Lease Agreement

The Nebraska Commercial Lease Agreement is a contract used to lock two (2) parties into an agreement for the renting of a building that will be used by the tenant for a specific business purpose. Retail outlets, restaurants, single offices/office buildings, and warehouses are a few of the types of properties that can be leased using the document. The form contains twenty-seven (27) conditions that cover the parties rights, what expenses they are required to pay for, and any unique conditions pertaining to the tenant’s business operations out of the property. It is important to understand Nebraska has no commercial-specific statutes in place to protect the landlord or tenant; all necessary protections should be specifically stated in the lease before signatures are recorded.
