Arizona Standard Residential Lease Agreement
The Arizona Standard Residential Lease Agreement sets the terms and conditions for the renting of a house or apartment and legally requires the tenant to make structured and consistent payments until the end of the lease. Sections especially crucial to the agreement consist of the amount of the security deposit (the maximum being one and a half (1.5) months in Arizona (§ 33-1321)), the duration of the lease, the name(s) of all tenants, situations garnering an eviction, and several others. All involved parties should only sign the contract after each condition has been read through and agreed upon. To ensure the legality of the document in the case it were to be used in court, having a lawyer read through it is highly commended.
